Meet Ms. Kara
I am delighted to introduce myself as the proud owner, director, and teacher at Green Sprout Learning. As soon as I entered kindergarten I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. My passion for learning has always been embedded deep in my heart, a passion that has strengthened with every experience and opportunity working with children. My journey through my own education has shown me that a love for learning starts early. I have committed myself to helping my students find this same love that will help them find both joy and success. Early Childhood Education is the foundation for all future learning. I welcome my future sprouts to play, discover, create, and find passion in their learning to make them successful in Kindergarten and beyond.
Throughout my professional career I have worked with children from infancy through third grade in both private and public school settings. These experiences helped me learn how to provide the best learning for my students that was differentiated and met the demands of kindergarten today. It also helped me discover how to advocate for my students and create learning through play that sparked problem solving, collaboration, creativity, and language. It has been a dream of mine to work with students in a smaller setting that would provide more opportunities for one-on-one instruction and to extend learning out of the traditional classroom. I look forward to working with you and helping your little sprout reach their full potential, together we will plant the seeds for success.
